In our feature interviews in this issue we talk to cover artist and Techno Master from Spain, DAVID MEISER. David is a producer based in Zaragoza (Spain) who has published on different labels around the world. Consecrated as an international artist with performances throughout Europe (Germany, France, UK, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Malta) and Latin America (Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Mexico and Peru). His discography to date has more than 30 records released in vinyl format on prestigious labels such as Synewave (US), Nachtstrom Schallplatten (GE), AFU Limited (GE). He is the only Spanish artist who has been remixed by the legend of Techno: Dave Clarke.

From the USA we speak to JOHN CREAMER. John stands as a trailblazing force in the realm of electronic music, leaving an undeniable mark as a DJ, producer, and songwriter since his arrival in the pulsating scene of New York in the early 90s. His journey began at the helm of Eightball Records store, where he swiftly rose to the position of Head of A&R at the iconic Eightball Records label. In 1994, he joined forces with Konrad Carrelli to birth the Butter Foundation, a ground-breaking acid jazz collaboration that resonated on Apollo, a division of the esteemed R&S Records. A pivotal moment came in 1995 when Creamer crossed paths with Stephane K, leading to the formation of the legendary dynamic production duo, Creamer & K. This duo etched their names into the archives of house music history by crafting iconic productions and remixes for luminaries such as Moby, New Order, iiO, Sinead O’Connor, and Kosheen.

Up next we have Progressive German DJ/producer, TOM TAINTED, who has made a name for himself with his joyful melodic and progressive house tracks. Releasing his music across labels such as Blanco Y Negro, Deep Woods and his own imprint Red Tail Music, Tom begins his 2025 by returning to the UK, with a double release on Krafted. Tom started DJing in the late 90s with his first club gig when he was 17, playing the opening sets for the main DJ at a house club in Heidelberg. He quickly became a regular in the local scene, holding several residencies and playing all night vinyl sets at the then famous deep club in Heidelberg.

From France, we speak to the talented EDDY ROMERO. For over a decade and a half, Eddy Romero has crafted a profound narrative through his label Expmental Records. Known for its minimalist, dark yet evolving soundscapes, the label stands as a beacon of deep electronic music culture. But Eddy’s role in the industry is multifaceted; as a producer, DJ, promoter, and label manager, he bridges creativity with business acumen. In this exclusive interview for Zone Magazine, Eddy reflects on the journey of Expmental Records, his philosophy on sound evolution, and the importance of community through showcases and artist development.
From Ireland we speak to, NITETALES. He is the artist moniker of Mel Donnellan, a dynamic force in the electronic music scene. In a relatively short time, Nitetales has built a name synonymous with deep, melodic sounds and high-energy performances. From headlining top-tier club nights in Dublin to booking slots on the White Isle, Nitetales has left his mark on stages across Europe and beyond. His journey has included a five-year residency at Dublin’s iconic Pygmalion, where his sets became the soundtrack for some of the city’s most discerning clubbers. Nitetales boasts an impressive discography, with releases on labels like Melodic Deep, Deeplomatic, Modern Agenda, Hothouse, Sonar Bliss, His 2023 melancholic cover of Grace – Not Over Yet on Blindsided Records further showcased his versatility and emotional depth.

CALLECAT, from the Netherlands, is the musical fusion between Koen & Gijs who share their passion for music. Both been DJ’ing and they have more than 30 years of international DJ experience . In 2017, the duo started collaborating for some studio work, inspired by artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn and Guy J. This resulted in lots of fun, and releases on The Soundgarden, Manual Music, Mango Alley, Movement Recordings, 3rd Avenue, Deep Down, and a lot more. As they share a passion for progressive deep house, they strive to bring you a warm, melodic and driving sound.
D4MIAN SMITH, from Spain, is a multifaceted artist, he masters different musical styles. House, techno, indie dance, electro, and Nu disco. He usually shows his most passionate side with music in his sets, where he puts all his energy, with constant changes of rhythms, alternating current music with retro touches and own productions. His career has taken him to different geographical points highlighting: Madrid, Benidorm, Almería and málaga,where he currently resides He has worked in rooms such as.: Penelope, (Benidorm), Specka, Octogon, (Madrid), D´cuadros.(Granada), and Floridia beach club, (Málaga).
