ADE Events Not To Miss

ADE Events Not To Miss

Every year Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is host to a huge crowd of festival enthusiast. Yes ADE started out as a networking conference for people in the music business. But it has grown far beyond that. Today every club or bar hosts something ADE related. Loads of labels have their label parties there or have a DJ come over to play. Naturally, there is more to do besides partying.

Where a conference ticket sets you back an easy 475 euros, I would recommend those only if you have a profile in the music industry and want to connect, have meetings there set up. The good alternative is the ADE-card for 17 euros. Which gives, among other things, access to daytime ADE events all over Amsterdam and Free entry to the ADE Festival Hangout.

The “Brakke Grond”
This is where the biggest festival Hangout is. Here you can indulge in various activities and panels, sound lab or even cross path with a famous DJ. For a complete list of events happening check this list:

ADE Young professional
If you are thinking about making moves in the music industry this might be something for you. For 35 euros you get access to this panel. ADE University is an outreach program that aims to inspire and educate both Dutch and international students who aspire to be the music professionals of the future. It offers a unique program full of interactive discussions, keynotes and Q&As, workshops and network sessions covering every possible area of expertise and featuring a wide variety of highly experienced professionals eager to share their knowledge and the insight they have gained through years of experience. Alongside students, they now welcome young professionals under 30 to ADE University for the first time. Both students and graduates can enjoy the complete program, which now also features a brand new concept under the name What’s Next?.

Paradiso:
One of the locations you should visit is “Paradiso”. It is an old church which now houses one of the best clubs in Amsterdam. On Wednesday Oliver Heldens hosts his party here “Oliver Heldens & Friends” Oliver Heldens will headline the event, bringing all the classics with him and perhaps even a look at his tech house side as he dives into the darker sounds of techno on special occasions. A ticket sets you back about 28 euro. But that is a fair price considering the huge success of his sold-out ‘Heldeep 5 World Tour’

Ziggo Dome:
On Thursday the 17th, and Friday the 18th of October, the Ziggo Dome will be completely taken over by the show “Tomorrowland presents OUR STORY – Celebrating 15 Years of Tomorrowland”. Traveling to Amsterdam is a part of all the special festivities that are being held this year to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Tomorrowland. Here you get to see legends like Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Afrojack, Tiësto and Armin van Buuren and many more. The Ziggo Dome is one of Amsterdam newest locations and one of the best concert buildings in the Netherlands. When it is not hosting ADE-events it had a huge array of artists playing here all year long.

Carnage presents the Heavyweight Royal Rumble:
One of the smaller clubs, club “Nova” is hosting one of this years Trap events. Carnage invites us to his Heavyweight Royal Rumble. If you love trap music you can’t get wrong Carnage, GRVDGR, Lil Texas among others will tear this place apart. I guess this not something for the fainthearted. Definitely the event we will be attending. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
