Born in Galicia on March 13, 1992, Alex began his journey in electronic music in 2010. Since then, he has become known for high-energy, technically skilled, and impactful sets, with a focus on Hardgroove and Techno styles.

A few years after taking his first steps in DJing, Alex ventured into music production, opening doors to constant learning and professional growth. His work has been released on renowned labels such as Ole Black, The Other Face, Synthesis Records, DZB Records, and more.

In 2022, he reached the Top 9 in Techno releases on Beatport and was featured in the platform’s “Tracks You Might Have Missed: Techno PD” playlist. Throughout his career, Alex has performed in Galicia’s most iconic venues, including Sala Ink (Narón), Zoo Club (Sanxenxo), and LP45 (Santiago de Compostela). His talent has also taken him to the most prestigious clubs across northern Spain, such as Teatro Albéniz (Gijón), The Jungle Dance Floor (León), and Artxanda Open Air (Bilbao). He has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists like Joseph Capriati, Fatima Hajji, Cristian Varela, and Paco Osuna.

In 2019, Alex moved to the Principality of Asturias, where he established his presence in the local club circuit, performing at venues such as Miniteide Electronic Club and starting to work as a resident DJ. Later, in 2021, he joined the Hardtechno Barcelona collective and focused his efforts on music production, releasing tracks on labels like Addepted, Rubiks Recordings, and XTENCE (IAMT Music Group).

The year 2022 was pivotal for Alex, marking his debut at iconic events such as “Elrow by Fabrik” and “All Night Long by Paco Osuna.” He also performed at Es Paradis Ibiza and collaborated with labels like Global Techno Movement, Rhythm Records, and IAMT Label.

In 2023, his career continued to rise with performances at renowned venues like Sala La Trinchera (Madrid), Casa das Virtudes (Algarve), and festivals such as Locos por el Musicón and Olmedo Music Fest, as well as crossing borders to Portugal.

In 2024, Alex debuted at the ADN Sound Fest and the Code Summer Fest, cementing his position as one of Spain’s most prominent Techno talents. Influences, role models, and key figures in your musical career?

Ben Sims, Cristian Varela, Pepo, and of course David Moleon, who is an essential part of my sets…And people who no longer perform, but who were important to me between 2000 and 2010.

Especially for people who don´t know you yet , how would you define yourself as an artist and what do you think you contribute , different from others ?

I´m one of those people who thinks that if you don’t have anything good to say about someone, it is better not to say anything at all. I define myself as an artist. Whether as a producer, promoter , or dj , I believe I bring energy , perseverance , and exclusive dedication to music . It is with me from the moment I wake up till I go to bed.
I have a very defined and own style as a DJ , and also as a musical producer. I think the key is to believe in yourself , in your work , and in your dreams . And anyone who tells you that you will never achieve it is lying . I ´ve met several people who have told me that throughout  my career…Look at me ,here I am , really happy for everything I ‘ve achieved . I travel every weekend to clubs or festivals to give my best in every set.

Music production or playing, which comes first and which do you like more?

DJ’ing comes first, like most DJ’s, I think. You get hooked on electronic music when you see the DJ transmitting that energy to the audience and see the audience return it. It’s one of the most beautiful things that can happen to you.

How do you prepare before a long or important set , and what do you usually do afterward to unwind?

Normally , for all-night long sets, I organize several folders with different styles within my genre, which is hard groove . I usually start with the lightest or most melodic tracks and end with the most energetic and powerful tracks . When I return from a trip , I almost always stop by home first to drop off my bags and then head to my parent’s house to spend some time with my dog, eat Galacian broth , and relax . On Monday we ´ll go back to the studio. I´m a simple , normal person . I like to go down to the neighborhood to have a drink with my lifelong friends . It relaxes me to know that I´m still the same person I was when I started , surrounded by my family or my old friends , even  though due to work , I can’t always see them as much as I ´d like.

What patterns or customs do you follow in your daily life , or for example , when making music ? How do you like to start your productions from beginning to end?

With edits , for example , it all starts with the excitement of hearing a track I like . I picture it in my mind , think about how it could turn out, and if I see potential for development , I create the base. I do the mix , and during the breaks or some of the drops , I add the instruments or vocals that characterize the edit I’m working on.
I´ve already done several edits: Hardgroove Jabi, one by Lia Kali, Rumba 3. Celia Cruz … The last one I did was Bad Bunny – Un verano en Nueva Yol.
Honestly , I´m really happy with how it turned out, both creatively and with the sound of the base : It sounds punchy , clear , and very groovy . As they say, the track has a lot of flow. With an original track the process is similar , but I start directly by creating the beat, sequencing the base with its synths , vocals , effects , and everything else, and finally , I do the master.

What challenges for endeavors do you still face in the music industry or on a personal level ?

I´m incredibly happy about everything that has happened , what´s yet to come . I also feel that in 2025-2026 , my defining style is gaining even more strength , so I´m going to keep working even harder than I already do to continue positioning myself as a great artist, recognized and loved by everyone , both in terms of my productions and my sessions.

How do you see the current electronic music scene?

I see it as very crowded. Yes, of course, DJ’ing is mixing music. The moment you put one song after another or have a session already recorded, that doesn’t make sense. In fact, Spotify or Ai would do it even better for you.

What do you like most and least about your profession?

Well, I do practically everything. I sometimes work as a promoter, DJ, producer… If I have to choose the best, it’s the people music has given me, who have become very good friends. The worst, without a doubt, are the enemies, who music has also given me and are people who leave my life for professional reasons.

Let’s talk about the public. How do you see the Spanish public and the foreign public?

The Spanish public is one of the best and very appreciative. In many places, people really enjoy it, but they show it in a different way, because of their culture, I understand. The difference I see is that it’s harder to get foreign people to dance.

Tell us about an anecdote that has happened to you during these 15 years of your career.

Mostly, I’ve had some good and wonderful experiences, places you couldn’t even imagine being called to play there: venues, theaters, festivals…

Do you already consider yourself a prophet in your own land, as difficult as that is?

No, I usually work the least in my homeland, Galicia. March was a very Galician month, but I usually work more outside of Galicia.

Who would you like to work with that you haven’t yet, or who would you like to work with again?

Ben Sims. He’s an artist whose music is unique to him, with unsurpassed technique. Ben Sims’ worst day… It could be the best day of your life. I’d like to work with many artists again. I can’t choose just one. If I have to name a few, for example, David Moleon, Cesar Almena, Brenda Serna… but of the artists I’ve worked with, I’d work with them all again.

Story of a song . Tell us a story about a song , yours or another artist´s that you like to remix ,that you like to close a set , for example.

Terminal Poem without words is a track I experienced intensely as a clubber at the 2024 Aquasella festival.
I´ve been attending that festival for about 15 years , and that year I was lucky enough to see Héctor Oaks close the show . I was accompanied by someone I deeply appreciate and love:
Andrea Suescun. We enjoyed that song in complete harmony , and the emotion Héctor conveyed to us from the booth, combined with the energy of the audience , was simply incredible . To this day , I still get goosebumps remembering it. When I got home , I bought it on vinyl and digitally so I could always use it , regardless of my set.

Do you like radio? Tell us about some experiences?

Yes, I like radio and I’ve been happy with the interviews I’ve had, both in my hometown and in Madrid… I wouldn’t want to be a radio host because I don’t think I have the best voice, and I realize it when I hear someone do it well.

Advice for people just starting out.

Perseverance and dedication Work hard, pursue your dreams, don’t set goals. That way, you’ll only get joy, not disappointment.
