EVENT REVIEW – IBIZA 2025 Closing Parties –

EVENT REVIEW – IBIZA 2025 Closing Parties –

 October 2025 –

Words By José de Sousa and Alessandra

—————————————————————————————-I hadn’t been in Ibiza since June 2023. At that time I stayed there for 2 weeks and visited several clubs  – more information in this article – page 66 onwards.  This year, on September 6, I had a very nice surprise… My dear friend Alessandra, who I met in Ibiza, in June 2023, sent me a message that shifted my focus for more than a month…

She said she was going to Ibiza for the Circoloco closing party, at DC10! Not having been in Ibiza last year and this year was causing me huge Ibiza blues, that vanished immediately as I read Alessandra’s message.

Neither Alessandra nor me had been at DC10 previously, so we had a lot of curiosity to attend this famous event.

After intense planning, we managed to sort out the flight, hotel reservations and event tickets. Returning to Ibiza, after more than 2 years, and to attend closing parties, created a lot of expectation both in Alessandra, and on myself. It was our first time in Ibiza not in the summer. We were both very curious to know how we would find Ibiza in October.

October in Ibiza.

Ibiza in autumn is a time of closures, a dive into the emotions of an entire season. However, there was a big surprise waiting for us this time… It was raining immensely in Ibiza due to the Gabrielle storm!  The streets in Ibiza town seemed rivers!!!

Ibiza is clearly not prepared for heavy rains, and our plans to attend the Circoloco closing party, and others, felt threatened! Luckily, the heavy rain lasted only some hours on Saturday, October 11. Sunday had a much better weather, only dark and grey clouds – our party plans could go ahead with less anxiety!

On Sunday, October 12, 2025, the “Nido” party took place at Akasha, located in Las Dalias Club, Ibiza.
The event started with free entry in the Las Dalias garden from 4 PM to 11 PM, with DJs Cris44 and M.E.M.O. playing. From 11 PM onwards, the party moved to Akasha with a performance by Words Of Niō, Akasha and Awka B2B John Woods.

The event description was promising: A celebration of homecoming, where the rythm of the day meets the pulse of the night. Nido brings together a blend of Afrobeat and organic house beats. A raw, authentic, full-of-life space, where those who seek the warmth of the nest can unwind and dance freely. An intimate journey that welcomes all who are ready to connect with the music, the people, and the essence of something truly special.

We only attended the night event at Akasha, a small club, compared to the Ibiza big clubs. Small in size, not in enthusiasm, though! The venue had a good attendance, even if it was not packed.

The music was very inspiring. The lights and video projection allowed us to transcend to another world – while having our feet on the dance floor. The sound volume was good, not excessively high, even if the floor was shaking and our feet had necessarily to move!

Akasha, is a club that embodies Ether, the ability to make things exist within it, an exceptional audio experience powered by The Ibiza Sound system. Its quality, that of Ether, is the ability to make things exist within its space. Here, various genres of electronic music are explored.

On Sunday, October 12th, like every Sunday, the Nido party was filled with Organic House sounds that connect us to the earth. Nido is a party that engages not only tourists, but also a large local community. This musical style combines electronic elements with natural sounds, creating a unique and engaging audio experience for listeners.

Then comes Monday, October 13, the much-awaited day of the Circoloco closing! We went to the iconic Monday night par excellence.

With a few planes flying overhead in the garden, you could breathe a pure clubbing atmosphere, pure vibes without frills… Knowing that the event would be packed, as it was sold out, we went there at around 7 30 pm.

There was still daylight, and when we entered DC10, there was already plenty of people inside.
The bars were busy and the Garden – the outside dance floor – had people clearly having fun and enjoying the last event of the DC10 2025 season. Alessandra told me that she was wanting to watch Anyma performing, for quite some time.

Anyma did a great show, he was the last DJ to play in the Garden, as after his performance, the party moved to the interior DC10 dance floors. Overall the crowd was very enthusiastic, as many celebrated the last party night in Ibiza this year – including myself!

Due to bad weather, Hernan Cattaneo’s last party at Akasha had been postponed from the previous week to October 14th. The show took place first outdoors at sunset and then indoors.

Hernan has a unique style, electronic music, mostly progressive house. He’s an Argentine DJ, one of the most active and consistent on the planet, beloved by many. He creates a diverse atmosphere where everyone feels at ease. His magical music conveys his technical as well as creative commitment. Hernan is a DJ who still strongly shares emotions with his audience. When he raises his head from the decks after creating his music, he observes the atmosphere it creates.

If you add that the drinks are very reasonably priced and the bartenders are friendly, Akasha proves to be a truly friendly place! With the closing experience done… next year’s plans are… To go for the openings!

Stay tuned with the Zone Magazine for updates on that!
