Mr.OFF Beat  [Spain]

Groove-led electronic soul with jazz roots and disco pulse, Mr OFFBeat is the solo project of Xabier Garayalde — producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist known for his work as one half of Kyodai and co-founder of Wagon Cookin’.

Over the years, Garayalde has built a respected presence within the global underground electronic scene. With Kyodai, he toured internationally and performed at venues such as Fabric (London), Panorama Bar (Berlin) and Blue Note (Tokyo). Their track “Breaking” was featured on the official soundtrack of Grand Theft Auto V through Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide platform, extending their reach beyond the club circuit. His work has consistently received support from artists including Gilles Peterson, Laurent Garnier, Osunlade, Jimpster and Masters At Work………..

NEBULA II [UK]

Nebula II are Joachim Shotter & Richard McCormack. The duo first came to light in 1991 with Seance (featuring the rave anthem Atheama on the b-side) which was released on Reinforced Records. The following year saw a steady flow of breakbeat rave tracks, such as Flatliners, C.O.D. Rider, Peace Maker, X-Plore H-Core and two remixes of their debut Seance / Atheama release……………

1993 was the year he first stepped into the DJ booth to perform for an audience. Once in awhile an artist comes along who shakes things up a bit. Usually, this is down to them bringing something new to the performance and production table. However, it is unusual that they do both so boldly right from the start. LUCKYKAT is certainly diving headlong into the scene providing both an unrivaled audio experience, as well as fun visuals. Yes, there are some obvious electronic influences, and we are familiar with acts wearing masks (yawn), but this looks, sounds and feels somewhat different!……….

Global UndergroundDeep Dish @ Index, Dublin, Ireland.

I’ve been listening to Deep Dish for nearly 30 years. I fell in love with those long, rolling house mixes first; Sandy B World Go Round, De’Lacy Hideaway and Brother Brown Under the Water. Records that felt like journeys rather than tracks. I used to finish terrace sets in Pygmalion with World Go Round on nights when everything just clicked; that feeling where nobody wanted to leave and you didn’t either…………

D4mian Smith – 50 Years of Light [Redbox Records]



He began listening to electronic music in the early 1990s, drawn to acts such as Boa Club (Germán Bou), Interfront (Megabeat), and the wider Valencian sound of the era. Early influences also included styles like new beat and synth-pop, with artists such as Icehouse, Information Society, Peter Murphy, and Johnny O. His musical journey continued through industrial techno and EBM, with key references like Front 242, before evolving in the mid-90s—when he started DJing professionally—towards darker and more forceful sounds such as techno and acid techno (Acrid Abeyance, Der Dritte Raum, Emmanuel Top)………
